Outside of work, Matt is a proud father who loves spending quality time with his family. They’re big fans of beach days and camping adventures, especially along the beautiful coastlines of Cornwall and Dorset. Whether it’s visiting local theme parks or exploring nearby attractions, they’re always looking for ways to create lasting memories together.

What would your dream house be like?

My dream home would have a huge master suite with his and her bathrooms and dressing rooms, and a balcony looking over the ocean.

What’s the weirdest food you’ve ever eaten?

It’s not strange but I love escargots à la Bourguignonne, a classic French delicacy.

If you could have the power of teleportation, where would you go and why?

I would go back to watch Michael Jackson live in concert, as a child we had tickets to see him on his last tour before he died.

What is your favourite season of the year and why?

I love cold, dark, rainy nights with a good bottle of red wine either in a pub next to an open fire or on the sofa at home with a good film.

What’s your favourite family tradition?

In our house when it’s your birthday you get to choose what the family have for tea. In the past our younger children have made some strange requests!

Top of my bucket list is…

I would love to learn to fly a helicopter and have my own, so we can take off every weekend and head to the beach.
